How Do You Like Me Now????

I just Love My New outfit!!!!!!

It's so nice to have something that really covers most of me. Thanks ya'll.

Rhoda Q. Tripp is checking in.............She doesn't want to be out done by her sister.

It's Roada's sister Rhoda. I didn't get to go to Houston, but I've been resting up for Quilt Camp on Thursday at St. Christopher's on Seabrook Island.("Actually, she has been on restriction due to bad behavior at Sewin' in the Summer"---says Roada Q.)
I live with Beth and 2 very feisty Maine Coon cats who like to wrestle. They look as much like meatloaves as I do.
Roada only has Rocky, a big loveable Lab,  to contend with.

Last Quilt Camp I got a bit carried away with the Pinot Grigio and was found in the morning snoozing it off with my head stuck in a snacks box.
How humiliating--I'm usually found under the table, belly up.

Regarding our pins, we're running out of space on our belly bands.  These quilters can only design in 2 dimensions (hence the simple velcro belly bands to attach our pins). Can someone design us a 3D vest???

Here's a pix of me between a rock and a hard place- Beth will only let me have one of our 2 favorite wines.
Next week I plan to stick close to Roada so that at least our excesses will be documented in the same picture.  We do like to party!

That's it for now, but, Look there's Rodie!!!

He's getting ready for his trip to St. Christopher with the 'Frayed Knots' of One Loose Thread.

We will all check-in as we go along...........see ya soon.

I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Ya know, that Joyce has had me confined for quite sometime now. I know, I was not a very nice rodent there for a while. I tripped Beth, I nibbled on Rodie's ear, I had a little to much wine one night and was not a very nice girl.............but................ gee whiz!!!  can't a rodent have a little fun sometime?? Anyway, Shirley Johnson, Wilma Grubbs and the girls from Pieces & Patches took my plight to 'Rodent Court'. I was found 'slightly disturbed', but the judge (Joyce) said that my sentence would be for 'time served'. Hoo-Ray!!!!!, now I get to go to Market in Houston!!!!!!

I can see me now on the floor of the convention center surrounded by shop owners, designers, quilters, and all the fabric in the whole wide world!!! I can't wait. My application has been FAXed to Shirley and Wilma. All I need now is my medical form filed out and placed in a sealed envelope. You know, in case anything happens and I have an emergency. (I am sure someone will have needle and thread if I need it).

So, stay tuned. The gang from Pieces & Patches will send back progress reports as they go along. I sure hope that the TSA will allow my belly band on the plane. I sure would hate to loose all of my travel pins. If there is a problem, I would imagine that a strip search will be necessary...........Oh My...........

See ya later,

Aiken Quilt Shoppe

Roada F. Tripp visited Nancy at the Aiken Quilt Shoppe

She really got into the fabric

She had not had lunch and tried to nibble the strips.

She did take some time to behave herself.

It was a very good day.
Rhoda Q has been visiting West Virginia and will report soon.
Roada F has been to many quilt shows this season, more on that later.
Both of the rodents will be at Pieceable Retreat with the Quilters of South Carolina this weekend. Look for them there!!!

Busy Week----need a nap!!!

Joyce and I visited Cotton Grill in Lexington this week. This is the 3rd time that we have been there for lunch and we highly recommend it. It gets 5 quills from the rodent. We plan to go back again real soon.

Yesterday, Joyce, Judy, Beth, and Roada F and Rhoda Q ventured up I-77 to the Cabarraus Quilt Show.

Look who we saw!! It's Kathi from Shakerwood Woolens-----she is so snuggly and is not at all afraid of our quills...... We love wool!!! See you at the Quilters of South Carolina Retreat in 2 weeks Kathi!!!!

That's it for now. Rhoda Q is venturing off of the beaten path with Judy this week. I was suppose to go trout fishing with Liz, but, Joyce forgot. Drat. Soooooo my next trip will be to Design Group on Thursday. I love seeing what those girls are up to.

Have a good week,

Great Food, Great Friends

I spent the evening with these great friends. You see all of those empty plates? THEY tell me that the food for 'to die for'. You couldn't prove it by ME!!! No one shared. THEY ATE IT ALL !!!!!!! Not one crumb was shoved into my bag for me to make my own decision. PPPPPPPPPlease talk to Joyce about this-----really make her feel bad about it.

She took me to the meeting with the Knight Bee. They had dinner at Terra in West Columbia. Joyce said that the food was wonderful."It was outstanding," said Joyce...Soooooo, if you haven't been there, you should go. Plan to spend some time so that you can really savor the flavors and enjoy the company.

The wait staff was very attentive to all of our orders and drinks. They were great!

Make a reservation and go try 'Terra'. Wonderful food. Great Smiles.

See ya later,
