Roada Goes Camping

July 1, 2011
I was given the opportunity to travel with Liz and Buck (AKA Mr & Mrs Frogquilter) to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.  We camped at the KOA in Cherokee.  The weather was only slightly cooler.   They donned their waders and went fishing in the stream.  I was left all alone but the camper has a real good air conditioner so I was cool and comfortable.  Liz caught her limit every day in only a few hours.  Liz tempted me with her fish.

On the way to Cherokee I saw a sign that said “Arts & Crafts Show”.  Saturday Liz and I drove to Cullowhee NC and attended the show aptly name “Welcome – 2011 Summertime - Fine Art & Craft Show” located in the Ramsey Center, Cullowhee NC.  All the artists were locals and displayed their amazing art.

Liz bought this fantastic piece of glassware.  It’s beautiful!

I had a great adventure.  No fabric was bought but two quilts were bound while traveling in the truck.  Can I go camping with them next time?
